DxO Zeiss Lens tests
DxO Mark thoroughly reviewed 17 (so far) Zeiss lenses, their article will summarize these test results. The first part will examine their DxOMark Scores for low-light and mid-light performance, along with their use case scores. Then we will study the evolution of the definition on the field according to the chosen aperture for each lens, along with the evolution of vignetting; these behaviors are strongly influenced by the size of the associated sensor, and this study shows the differences when mounted on full-frame or APS-C bodies.
Does it explain why Zeiss lenses score low on their benchmarks?

Zeiss Sonnar 85mm F2 ZM Gone??
The ZM Sonnar 85/2, being one of the two Made in Germany ZM lenses (the other is Distagon 15/2.8), has disappeared from the ZM lineup page from Zeiss. Is that a signal of discontinuation?
This Sonnar 85/2 was just reviewed by Michael Letchford as being a great performer, and I personally would choose this Sonnar 85/2 over the L-brand 90/2 ASPH APO. If this lens is to be discontinued, what's the reason behind it? Is that an indication of a new Cosina made version will come out for half of the cost? Well... I think I'd rather pay more to have it made in Germany (my 2 cents).
Let's hear what you think about it.
