New CZ lens line for Sony Nex E-mount and Fujifilm X-mount:
The first set of lenses will be 2.8/12; 1.8/32 and 2.8/50makro. More primes will follow. Zoom lenses are about to
discuss but not decided yet. This CSC lens line will have autofocus and cover
the APS-C format. CZ didn’t decide to
enter the Micro 4/3 market yet. The new lenses will support all
camerafunctions. Both E-mount and X-mount lenses will have manual focus
override, the X-mount lenses will have an additional aperture ring. The lenses will follow the CZ premium standard but won’t be all metal but durable and light weight. No in lens image
stabilization. The lenses aim at a price range of about 1'000 Euros. First lenses will be on sale from spring/summer 2013.
The new lens line will be made from the Zeiss manufacturer network in Japan. If it's the same manufacturer as for the ZM line, then Cosina is meant. Therefore the new lens line will be real Zeiss', not Sony or Fuji with the Zeiss stamp on. A good sign for the quality we can expect. Because the focal lengths are not much different from existing Fuji X or Sony E lenses, the image performance must make the difference.

This announcement changed my opinion about the Fuji X system. Well the system i like, but the lenses i did not. If i can get some zeiss quality on there it might get very interesting for me. Sad tho that it will be such a long wait halfway into 2013. :(

Sony and zeisss should give us nice fast zoom with E-mount like 19-70 f3.3 and 70-200 f3.3 all with oss . There is adapter la-ea2 but no oss you get it .
ReplyDeleteI am very disappointed with la-ea2 , maybe is nice for photo but for video is not good as I was expect . Autofocus jump ,and I hate this . I used it with fs100 but after that I sold it and just stay with some prime lens and sony 18-200.
ReplyDeleteI hope zeiss will make for us nice fast zoom 17-50 f2.8 . Sony promise to give us G zoom in 2012 and I do not know how more long we have to wait ?
Once again adapter la-ea 2 is just good for tracking and nothing more . Sony ,zeiss have to give us nice fast zoom with nice zoom ring , focus ring and with oss . Do not forget about user vg10,20,30, fs100,fs700 and other using nex line products not just for photo .
