How long am I supposed to wait? I mean it is Cosina right? Why not get them to ship the assembled lens to Germany so that they can dust it off, give it a kiss, and mark it "Made in Germany" like Leica, then it would be worth more - right? I wonder, is there any there there anymore with Zeiss? I like the new Ikon and lenses, but what about a digital one? I guess I get kind of ambivilent waiting for them to produce a lens or a camera less than 50 years out of step. It's kind of like sauerbraten, I like the kind I like, the tart kind, not the bland kind. Waiting for these guys to get their act together is like that, and you are not even sure you are going to get the kind of sauerbraten you like. You hope to God it is the kind you like, but given the scarcity of sauerbraten you almost are willing to eat any kind and just smile. You know?
